Surf & Sand Resort Laguna Beach, Laguna Beach

Wow, this hotel is a gem! The rooms are spacious, modern, and offer incredible views overlooking the ocean. The staff goes above and beyond in every aspect, making it a top-notch experience. However, if you're sensitive to noise, the pool area might get a bit loud. The dining options are varied, but some dishes can be pricy. The location, right on the beach in the heart of Laguna Beach, couldn't be more perfect!

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room facing the ocean was lovely with a great view, but being located on the first floor next to a noisy pool was not ideal. The service, however, was exceptional with knowledgeable and kind staff. The location was perfect for beach and dining activities, although there was no open ocean view from the patio. The dining experience was below average, with overpriced and cold food arriving, but the facilities were adequate.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The pool area was noisy during the day with pool noise and at night with bar noise; however, the rooms themselves were large and comfortable, featuring a sizable patio. On the downside, the rooms appeared tired, dirty, and in need of repair and refurbishment.
